Some Sketches
I was inspired before Fall Break by a post on a design blog to sketch while traveling. It’s been a while since I drew seriously, and it was a lot of fun getting back into it. I found that one of my favorite things to do was quick sketches in pen of people on buses and metros. The exercise was quite a challenge since there’s little room for error using pen and just a small window of time before people get off at their stop.
I got caught while working on this one in a bus in Prague.

From a wonderful coffee shop in Vienna. The waiter there wore a tuxedo and seemed to know what we were going to order before it even left our mouths.
